Challenges of grand parenting, dog parenting, and publishing a cozy mystery.

Hi Folks,

This has been a busy week for me. Our grandson graduated from W.V.U., and we definitely wanted to see him receive his diploma.  Actually, the university is so large that it provides graduates with folders for their diplomas, which are mailed to them later. What a day, seeing so many bright, aspiring young people graduating, and watching their proud relatives and friends cheer them on.

Also this week, I placed my new cozy mystery on pre-order on Amazon KDP, to be published on May 30. I hope you will order or tell your cozy mystery-loving friends to check it out. The paperback will be available on May 31 at Amazon.  I must say that after intensive editing, I went through the book a few more times in PDF form for paperback and EPUB form for Kindle, each time finding a minor change that needed to be made. Whew!! Endless perfectionism. Hopefully, it will look good to readers now.

And finally, the weather has taken a turn for the better in my cold, mountain climate, and I have started trying to get the outside of the house ready for Spring by blowing away leaves and planting a few flowers that hopefully won’t freeze.  More to come on that work!

Hopefully, I will be able to devote more time soon to my non-fiction book focused on caring for oneself while caring for others.

Just a note, Calli left me to my work while she went exploring through the house. She’s a little tired of “assisting” today. Book publishing can be exhausting for a fuzzy colleague!

Be well, my friends,

Suanne
