As those of you who have followed the book, Baxter Tales: Personally Transformed by a Basset Hound Who Taught Me About Coping with Change, know, that ornery Basset Hound charmed his way into my life and that of my son.

As everything else in our lives was topsy-turvey, Baxter simply took over and taught us a thing or two! How to laugh, how to cry, how to love unconditionally. 

Bax continues to be a presence in my house.  See the photo below. Those are just the miniatures!
